Actor JOHNNY DEPP used his star power to prevent movie bosses from launching a Pirates Of The Caribbean tie-in toothpaste - because his character has awful teeth in the films.
Depp, who plays Captain Jack Sparrow for a third time in the upcoming Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End, is amazed by how imaginative the advertising for blockbuster movies can be.
He says, "There were only a couple of things that I thought, 'Now we're stepping over the line.' "I drew the line at hygiene products. It just seemed wrong.
