Avril Lavigne whinges and announces she wants to be an actress

Avril Lavigne is blaming Britney Spears again.

The “Complicated” star has been blaming the “Toxic” star for her own image woes so much lately that some are wondering if she’s doing it to boost her own image. “She has paparazzi at her house every day,” Lavigne told the Australian newspaper Townsville Bulletin. “Then she does things that are crazy, so everyone talks about it.”

Lavigne, who hasn’t been in the spotlight herself much lately, also says that she wants to make movies — but not like her rival, Mandy Moore. Seems she wants to go more the Angelina Jolie-route. “I can’t do a Mandy Moore kind of movie, a chick flick,” Lavigne said. “I have to do like a ‘Girl Interrupted.’ I have to take my time and make the right choices.”

God, I hate Avril Lavigne. She IS full of herself. You can tell from almost any interview she gives. What's really, really sad; is that some people are talented enough to get away with being somewhat conceited. But Avril is just a whiny little idiot with a shitty voice and shitty music (she should have stuck with letting Raine Maida write her stuff) I don't know where she gets off thinking she has the talent to pull off a "Girl Interrupted" type of film. I mean Angelina's a crazy bitch, but at least she's a talented crazy bitch.

I think she has a decent voice but is far too young to be pulling the diva bullshit. She should pipe down, work on her music and hope everyone forgets what an annoying little twat she is.

She just assumes that doing parts like that is easy, which says everything we need to know about her acting chops. Doing comedy is hard. I don't like her singing -- I don't think she is talented, but she filled a voic in the teen market. Maybe she could take a few acting lessons, too. It bugs me that people think good acting just comes "naturally" and that anyone can do it. But it explains why there are so many bad actors out there.

Why do I hate Avril Lavigne? Let me count the ways.
1. Her fucked up shitty name
2. Her false angst ridden attitude
3. Her face, her hair, her makeup.
4. Her dumb songs that she didnt even write herself. Some arent that bad because of that.
5. Her annoying interview style
6. The way young kids are impressed by her
7. She thinks she's somebody
8. That people actually buy her music
and the list would go on. I dont think there would be enough bandwidth to hold them all.
