"US actress REESE WITHERSPOON will only star in movies her 6-year-old daughter AVA ELIZABETH approves of because she wants to be a positive role model for the youngster.
The LEGALLY BLONDE star, who is also mother to DEACON, 2, is famous for her turns in romantic comedies, but insists it is important for her children to learn from her movies.
She says, "A lot of the roles I choose to do are because I have a daughter and I want her to see what women are really like - women who are strong and accomplished.
"It's really important and it's nice to think that people are comfortable letting their daughters see the films I'm in. That's an important responsibility"."
