Sheryl Crow just announced that she has adopted a brand new baby boy.
Today Sheryl revealed on her website, "I am so excited to share with you guys that I've adopted a little boy ... he was born 2 weeks ago. His name is Wyatt (after my dad) Steven (after my little brother and Scooter) and we are enjoying some very private family time."
This is the first child for single mom Sheryl Crow. Happy Mother's Day!

Congrats!
She better be using cloth diapers and one baby wipe per diaper change! I kid, I kid.

Good deal.
But she'll be singing a different tune about waste when she sees how many diapers that baby goes through!

Except for the toilet paper thing, and I give that 10 minutes, this is the best Mothers Day present I ever heard of! I like the way she is keeping the baby all to herself for a while. She is in for a delightful time! I also admire her for putting the breast cancer behind her and really living fully. This is a match truly heaven made.

Must have a really good bill of health and a private adoption. Doesn't remission mean 5 years clean? Until then, I'd be a bit nervous. Of course, I think they caught hers really early and did aggressive treatment and it may be all gone.
As for the diaper issue: My landlady uses cloth diapers and does not use a service. The water literally runs full blast literally 18-24 hours a day in this house (with rusty pipes that make it take 20 mins to fill the washing machine). Yet she's all into being natural and vegetarian. She needs a reality check. If she lived in Southern California her water bill would be hundreds of dollars.

I am happy for her, but damn, seems like every celebrity is on the adoption bandwagon.

ITA. A brush with cancer makes people realise that there is more to life than money, fame etc. And what better way to celebrate life than with a baby and new family. Good luck to Sheryl. I'm sure she'll make a great mum.
