Default Nikki Sixx to release his 'Heroin Diaries'

Musician Nikki Sixx is releasing a combined solo album and book later this year based on the journals he wrote during his drug addictions in the 80's.

The Motley Crue bassist kept the diaries from his well documented heroin addiction and will release them under the title The Heroin Diaries: A Year In The Life Of A Shattered Rock Star.

Sixx hopes the CD and book will increase "awareness on drug and alcohol addiction" and raise money for his fund raising initiative, Running Wild In The Night, which helps keep children off the street.

I'll read it, too. I loved reading "The Dirt", so I'm sure I'll like this one.

I would like reading it, the man seems pretty down to earth now. I have to wonder how he was all hopped up.
My goal is to be happy with my life.

I plan on reading this one. I'm glad he got his life back on track, I've always liked him. It'll be interesting to read what he went through. I'm also glad to see that he has turned such a low time in his life into something positive by helping at risk kids with his charity.

I enjoyed reading The Dirt, but by the end I thought they were all deluding themselves about thier 'talent'. To me, Tommy Lee came across as the most sane, while Nikki Sixx came across as completely full of himself. Sorry! *runs at top speed from the wrath of moomies and gang*
