American actress and singer Jennifer Love Hewitt has been sued for 350,000 dollars by her former management company Handprint Management.
According to TMZ, the lawsuit alleges that the 'The Ghost Whisperer' actress failed to pay brokerage to the company for getting her the role in the hit series.
`Ghost Whisperer' is an American television drama-fantasy-thriller about a young woman, played by Hewitt, who can communicate with the spirits of the dead.
Handprint insisted that the role of Melinda Gordon in the show helped the actress to boost her faltering career and bring her 'back to national prominence as a television star'.
According to court documents, the company claims that the 28-year-old actress refused to pay for the second season of the show.
The 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' star terminated her ties with the company in March 2005.
