    Actor MICHAEL VARTAN is nursing fractured fingers after losing an ice-chopping bet. The former Alias star insisted he could smash through a block of ice, but injured his hand in the process. But pals insist Vartan can see the funny side of his twisted heroics. One tells In Touch Weekly magazine, "He laughs about it." The actor has been spotted sporting taped up bandages on his injured right hand.
