Britney's First Night Out! HOT LINKS : Britney Spears

Britney hit the town last night for the first time since leaving Promises rehab, but only for 45 minutes! Spears went to Bridge restaurant/lounge last night around 9:45 with her cousin Alli, enjoyed the scene for a brief time, and returned home by 10:30. A little later, Brit's bodyguard left the house to go and rent some movies for Britney and Alli. Perhaps post-divorce settlement celebration? Or just a little time out after rehab?

This is a much better approach to post rehab social life, although I don't get why they went to a club in the first place (unless it was due to Brit's pap addiction?), but, then they poddled off home.

She looks happy here. Goofy, but happy. These rehab stints aren't very long. Celebs must get over their problems much faster than us regular people.

That wasn't rehab, that was timeoff from paparazzi. Anyhow, glad to see she's smiling.

If she needs so much attention from the paps, she should try taking her sons to the park, or doing anything at all with them. The paps would be there, no matter where she went. To me she seems like her children are not her first priority, and I absolutely cannot respect that. I think it's f*#ked up.

Um ... why are they saying she's out for the first time? She went out to dinner directly after leaving rehab and I think she's been photographed going to another restaurant as well. Why doesn't she stay home, spend time with her children, do something constructive with her time? If she spends every minute out on the town, it won't be long before she has her head stuck in the bottle again.

She has never learned the subtle art of leaving them wanting more, that's for sure. She has been away from her children for a month - and these are babies - and she still feels a need to go out on the town? That is sad. She will regret this one day, if she has a conscience. That aside, if she had a brain, she would go away with her kids for 6 months to some far away place, work on herself, bond with those kids, and come back refreshed. Instead, we are going to get to watch yet another meltdown. She'll be back in rehab for a "tune up" before summer officially starts. Yawn.

I do agree that she has spent way too much time away from her babies-whether in rehab or just going out and partying, but, I know that when we would go out it would be after the babies had gone to bed...maybe (but it is Britney) the babies were in the bed...

I do have to say that she does look pretty in these pics. Her clothes-and especially that ugly ass hat-aren't appealing, but she seems to have a very happy smile...

The fact that her "first night out on the town" was so short tells me it was nothing but a calculated PR move to prove that she's being "responsible" and getting home at a decent hour. Which is b.s., if she were really being responsible she'd just stay out of the public eye completely for at least a week to spend time with her kids or just for the sake of letting us forget about her rehab mess.

She's still chasing the publicity, for better or worse, all that matters is that cameras are still snapping her picture. She hasn't learned a thing.

My understanding is that "Good Father" kfed still has the kiddies.

As they have joint custody, doesn't she have to be somewhere where he can have easy access to the boys? Or the other way around as he has custody at the moment?

i know the thought of Britney & her babies burying herself in deepest darkest "country" is appealing, just not sure how "legal" it would be....?

My Grandma is going to be sooooo pissed when she realizes her purse and sweater are missing. Just kidding, my Grandma would never wear something so ugly and old looking.
