Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) to be a dad
COMIC Sacha Baron Cohen is be a father, it was claimed last night.
Sources close to the Borat star say his fiancee Isla Fisher is pregnant and expecting later this year.
The Australian actress recently avoided alcohol at the Cat and Fiddle pub in Los Angeles and announced to friends: "We've got some good news: I'm pregnant." The couple, who met in 2002, have reportedly postponed their wedding so Isla can study Sacha's faith of Judaism.
AdvertisementRepresentatives for Sacha and Isla refused to comment last night.

I'd imagine it'll be gorgeous...he's actually quite nice-looking when he's not in character (which is rare in public), and Isla Fisher is a really pretty girl. Good luck to them both, though his satirical edge has been somewhat blunted over the years, but I suppose that's what money/success does to you!

Not sure I believe this. SBC is from a fairly orthodox Jewish family and I know that Isla is actively taking instruction to convert (she's not just thinking about it) before they get married. If she IS preggo then I'd guess they will get married ASAP. I really can't see why people think being preggo is a reason to delay a wedding.

Yeah, isn't his degree/phd frm cambridge in Jewish studies or something?
Do you think that they would marry really quickly or would they wait for Isla to finish converting? (ooh or just when they had planned to... sorry I need to pay attention when I read this afternoon!)
