Marc Anthony to Jennifer Lopez: 'You're so cute!'

At a party to celebrate the release of her first Spanish-language album Como Ama Una Mujer (How a Woman Loves), Jennifer Lopez had no bigger fan than husband Marc Anthony.

When the singer appeared onstage Tuesday at the Spotlight Live in New York, she thanked the crowd of familiar faces, which included her mother and sister, but was quickly interrupted by a voice in the audience yelling, "I think you're so cute!"

Lopez, who married Anthony in 2004, replied with a smile, announcing, "And my husband is here."

Anthony, situated directly in front of the stage with a pal, record producer Swiss Beatz, danced and sang along in Spanish to Lopez's first number while sipping a beer and puffing on a cigarette. When the song ended, he darted behind a black curtain and disappeared from the audience.

"The next song is a little treat," Lopez, 37, said. "In a second you'll see why." After a few lines, Anthony, 38, appeared onstage and joined his wife in a romantic duet. At one point, Anthony drew his wife toward him with his hand on the small of her back, and they stared into each other's eyes.

"How you like them apples?" Lopez asked when the song ended. "That's my baby, for better or for worse!"

Anthony returned to his seat in the audience for his wife's final song, Lopez's first single "Que Hiciste," and danced and sang until the performance was over. But the party – and the romantic mood – didn't end there.

Back in the VIP area, where Anthony was already greeting wellwishers, Lopez made her way toward her husband, friends and family at their table. The crowd cheered and raised their glasses of champagne when she arrived.

Soon the group was dancing to Timbaland's new single "Give It to Me" and T.I.'s "Bring 'Em Out" while eating giant puffs of pink cotton candy, marbled "monkey bar" brownies, chocolate-dipped donut holes and sipping milkshakes with straws out of shot glasses. The proud couple stayed close and occasionally whispered to each other, posed for pictures and kissed people hello, and said "thank you" to those who offered congratulations.

When Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack" came on, Lopez threw her glass up and shook her famous booty with her hand on Anthony's shoulder.

Around midnight the couple, still holding hands, made their way to the back of the club, where they slipped into a hallway and left, disappointing a large crowd of fans and several lingering paparazzi waiting outside the venue on both sides of Broadway near Times Square.

Seems like a case of him way more into her, then her into him. And that's the reason she married him. She needs to have that constant validation or something. Very sad.
