Larry Birkhead was spotted in Miami yesterday afternoon, burning up cash at a local Baby Gap.

The front-runner in the ongoing saga of who fathered Anna Nicole Smith's baby, felt confident enough to prepare a wardrobe for little Dannielynn, now six months old.

Results of DNA tests are pending, along with Bahamian legal maneuvering by Stern. But, like her late mother, little Dannielynn will be ready for her close-up.

Well if he isn't I would sure feel sorry for his delusional butt! I think he is though. They probably had some arrangement, she wanted a kid, he did too, he helped her.. blah blah blah.

What pisses me off is why this paternity thing is taking so long. It's supposed to come out next week, but an attorney on LKL last night said it could be weeks before the info is released. He seemed to know what he was talking about and given everything, I don't doubt he's right.

He mentioned that he was surprised there was no appeal yesterday from HKS regarding spilling the outcome of the test.

Birkhead is grandstanding. He's been seen buying baby stuff before. I'm hoping he's not the father.

But why? Supposedly HKS doesn't spend any time w/ the baby, she's being raised by nannies.
And I'm not so sure she needs to end up with Virgie.

Maybe he's just an excited, expectant daddy who's trying to get everything ready for her. This is a good thing IMO.

I'm with you on this, but can't help but think he must know she's his somehow. Nothing against the men, but I've never seen a man go through so much to get his child before. I know there's the money

deal, but he's been at it since way before Anna died.

It seems that if he is indeed the daddy, he'll be a good one.

If the baby had no inheritance would they be so desperate to get her??? What if she does end up with absolutely nothing? Will they still love her and care for her? She needs her crazy but loving mummy.
