Wynonna Judd’s Husband Arrested – Charged with Sexual Abuse of Minor


Troubled country singer Wynonna Judd has been hit by another devastating blow: Her husband has been thrown in jail for allegedly sexually abusing a child.

Daniel Roach -- Wynonna’s second husband -- was arrested March 22 at the Shades of Hope rehab center in Buffalo Gap, Texas -- the same place where Wynonna battled a food addiction just a year ago. Roach, say insiders, was being treated for an undisclosed addiction.
Roach was held at the Taylor County Jail in Abilene, Texas, on a $750,000 bond. He is charged by a grand jury with three counts of aggravated sexual assault on a child, according to Don Aaron, public affairs officer for the Nashville police department. Roach had been Wynonna’s bodyguard for 10 years before the couple became engaged in August 2001. They married on November 22, 2003, in Tennessee.

The 42-year-old singer has two children from her first marriage to Nashville yacht broker Arch Kelley -- Elijah, 12 and Grace, 10. Despite a nasty divorce from Wynonna in 1999, her ex-husband was shocked when he heard of Roach’s arrest. “He’s a good guy,” Kelley told The ENQUIRER.

But for Wynonna -- who’s faced her share of struggles over the years, including a 2003 DUI arrest -- the latest crisis may mean the end of her five-year marriage.

^^No exscuse at all. If you are a pedophile, IMO you are whether you are straight or sober...you don't just become a pedophile when you drink or do drugs...it's not something that comes out under the influence.
3 counts...I wonder if it was 3 counts for the same child or if there was 3 cases...either way, he should be put under the jail.

I read an article in our sunday paper from a girl whos father had been convicted of the same (I'm not sure if it was with the children of the 2nd marriage, or the step children). But her mother had questioned her closely, but he'd never touched her or done anything inappropriate. That surprised me.

Pedophilia is sex with a child who has not reached puberty, the article mentions child molestation so it could've been a 15 year old. just making sure everything is accurate
