According to recent rumors, Gisele Bundchen might not renew her contract with Victoria's Secret. And according to CinemaBlend.com she's being considered for the role of Vittoria on the upcoming movie 'Angels & Demons', with Tom Hanks. Is this a good move - a high profile modelling gig for a high profile Hollywood career? You be the judge.

Don't think it'll matter. She's still working a lot and it was probably time to move on from Victoria's Secret or stay with them in a different capacity. Not jazzed about the movie role....

^^^ Yeah. I find that most models, because of their job, tend to focus too much on themselves and on how they come across visually, and fail to give personality and emotional depth to their character.
Madonna has a similar problem, IMO. She's my favourite singer and my icon, but a bad actress, because her personality and her ego are too big to be put aside and become someone else to follow a movie script.
