There's having a bad hair day, and then there's having a really bad hair day. Which is what Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman seems to be having.


With her big hair set in an odd wave and set style Kidman looked far from her usual stylish red carpet self.

Out for the day with recovering addict husband Keith Urban, the country and western singer put wife Nicole to shame with his well-tended (a bit too well-tended), highlighted, groomed locks.
Maybe she was auditioning for a role in the upcoming film version of TV soap Dallas? But whatever caused her to wear the oddd style, it seems she too was shocked by her frightful appearance, as her hair looked as if it was almost white in colour.

However, like many of us, perhaps the usually well-groomed actress was just having an off day.
But next time Nicole, do the decent thing, avoid the Stepford Wife look and put it in a ponytail!

My hair stylist was talking about her the other day. She said she's probably really gray which is why she goes with the blonde color. She said it's easier to maintain than the red. Which is a shame because she was so much prettier with red hair. I think she should get some fringe as well. She has a serious five head there.

Her hair color matches her skin tone. Not usually a good idea for anyone, but especially bad if you have alabaster skin.

Comparing a red carpet style to an everyday style is just crazy to begin with, however, I don't think her hair is very attractive in either picture.

Actually, my stylist said that 100% gray coverage is totally doable regardless of the haircolor chosen. I had asked him if the reason why you see a lot of blonde old ladies is because blonde covers gray better. He said no. Maybe that's how it used to be in the old days, but not anymore.

Nicole's blond hair ages her, badly. I don't know why someone doesn't tell her that. Does she look at these pics of herself and think she looks good?

The blonde washes her out, which makes her look about 10-20 years older. She would look great with a vibrant, coppery red or strawberry blonde.

Hmmm. I don't agree because if you have red hair, the outgrowth of gray would be very noticeable. But if you have blonde, the outgrowth isn't so striking. My stylist said that if you are gray with red hair, you have to maintain it constantly or have white roots that are very noticeable. Why would it be that way in "the old days" and not now? The process of dying your hair is still the same.

Fabularosa where did you read that she's pregnant? I hope she is. She's wanted to be for awhile now.
