Amy Winehouse offers to comfort crying Lindsay Lohan

British singer Amy Winehouse has offered her friendship to hard-partying Lindsay Lohan, admitting she wants to give the US actress a "cuddle".

Rehab star Winehouse, who herself is widely known to enjoy drinking, empathises with 20-year-old Lohan after seeing pictures of the starlet crying.

She says, "I want to cuddle that girl. I really want to hug her.

"I saw pictures of her coming out of the doctor's, and she's crying. She's holding papers in her hand, like, 'Oh, it's a note from my liver saying, "Dear Lindsay, I've gone to Vegas!"'."

I saw winehouse on E News the other day talking about her single, and she said "my family staged an intervention for me and they tried to throw me into rehab but I was like no no no its not really like that- I'm not going"

ahahhahahaha she's so annoying. Her and lohan should go into a bar and never come out again

Has anyone heard this girl sing? I'm curious to know whether her music is any good, although I'm so against her personality that I refuse to listen to her music.

Personally, I think her music is amazing. I'm completely hooked on her "Back to Black" album, I have it on all the time.

And I don't mind her personality. The music's great to listen to, and that's all that matters to me.

I saw one of her videos on VH1. It was "bad girl" something.

It was really amazing. Her voice is original and wonderful to listen to. I was impressed by the song too. It has a retro sound. I normally can't get into a song upon a first listen, but I loved it instantly. Based on that one song it seems she's got a lot of talent.

I just heard her music on youtube, she has an awesome voice and her lyrics are so honest. Very unique style compared to some other singers.
