Christina Aguilera is planning an intimate wedding.

The singer, who will wed record executive Jason Bateman next month, says the wedding celebrations will be for "close friends and family" only and will last three days.

Speaking to reporters in Johannesburg, South Africa, the 24-year-old popstar said the wedding wouldn't be "too big."

The Dirrty singer refused to disclose where the ceremony would take place, but said it would be a destination

wedding taking place over the span of three days, reported MTV.

She said: "We are going to have a weekend wedding. Each night has a certain theme to it and the whole thing is very magical."

Christina and Bateman became engaged in February after dating for almost three years.

I hate to admit, but I am interested in seeing pics from this wedding. I just hope she goes REAL easy on the make-up.
