Larry Birkhead sets up Danielynn Smith's nursery

Larry Birkhead went on a shopping spree to decorate 6-month old Dannielynn's nursery yesterday.

After leaving court, Larry had lunch at The Ivy on Robertson Blvd., but instead of hitting up the celebrity retail haunt Kitson, located up the street from the eatery, Birkhead shopped at Babies "R" Us -- in Van Nuys!

TMZ has learned that Larry purchased tons of pink clothes, toys and baby supplies at Babies "R" Us, then went to a nearby baby furniture store where he picked up an antique white baby crib, changing table, white furniture and baby gates.

While a hearing in the Bahamas is scheduled in the next few days, it looks like Larry believes he's got a lock on Dannielynn's paternity.


I sure hope she is his daughter. I can't imagine how devastated he will be if he finds out he is not.

I can't wait to read that Larry FINALLY has his daughter in his custody/care. I really like him for some reason, he seems like a good guy who truly desperately wants his daughter, and little Dannielynn NEEDS some stability & love from a caring parent. SOMEBODY GIVE DANNIELYNN TO HER FATHER ALREADY!!!!!!!

I was thinking that too. There were the stories that HKS took Larry's cup from the court hearings. Maybe they ran their own DNA and know for sure he is the Dad and that was why HKS tried to negotiate a deal?

I don't know how anyone can be positive of the paternity. The woman slept with every man that looked in her direction.

I so hope that this baby is Larry's. He obviously truely believes this and I will feel so bad for him if she isn't. I just wish they would order the DNA test so he can have her finally.

Personally I could care less who raises her, I don't know this child, nor do I know Howard or Larry personally so I couldn't begin to say who is right for the child.
But yes, if Howard turns out to be her father I would like to see him raise her.
