Crowd jeers Howard K Stern at Anna Nicole's funeral

MSN's Rita Cosby reports that Howard arrived at the church alighted to "big jeers" by the gathered crowd.

Trump is also weighing in and calls HKS a loser. Pot meet kettle.

It's crazy that her body had a "significant" police escort and some roads were blocked off in S Florida as they took her body to the private plane to the Bahamas. It's not like she was a world leader or respected community leader.

TMZ is also reporting that Daniel's father has now filed papers to exume Daniel's body so it can be buried in Texas near his home. The kid was 20 when he died and his Dad had not been in his life since he was 2. Now he wants him buried in Texas. Wonder if he even bothered to attend the funeral in the Bahamas?

Though I don't really agree w/ moving one's grave, I could understand it if Anna's body would've been buried in Texas, just for the sake of keeping mother and son together.

Billy Smith is rude and thoughtless to try to go through w/ this now.
Wonder if they'll let him do it?

As far as him not seeing Daniel since he was 2, it's hard to judge. For all we know ANS would not let him see the child (look how she did Larry Birkhead). More than likely Billy has never been a wealthy man and couldn't afford to hire attorneys. Not making excuses for him, but he was only 17 and dirt poor when he became a dad.

True but I saw him interviewed after Daniel died and he didn't have much to say other than it was sad that he died.

Anna Nicole Smith saw men as $ signs and sperm donors, obviously. She didn't care about anyone else's feelings when she kept Daniel from blood kin. Billy Smith may have been 17 and dirt poor when he became a father, but he had a right to a relationship with his son, which he was denied. Still, I don't think Daniel should be buried in Texas. I don't know why Billy Smith feels the need to muck things up like this. It's not like there's anything real rewarding to get out of having a grave near where he lives. It just doesn't make sense.

Yeah, I saw that too and he didn't seem very torn up about it or anything. Hopefully he's not just doing this to get his 15 minutes in and some free cash. Wouldn't be surprising though.

Apparently the funeral is underway but her mother tried to stop the funeral with some legal maneuver. Virgie Arthur has no jurisdiction, no cause of action, it's just an outrage says one commentator. Another says she lacks credibility based on several of her recent actions.

^^ I can understand her not wanting ANS buried there where only HKS will near by but enough is enough.

My grandmother lived in Texas her whole life. She had a baby who lived 1 day and was buried in Texas. In her 70's she was forced to move to PA to live with my family so we could help care for her and my grandfather who had suffered a stroke. He died and then she died 20 years later. He last wish was that we have her son's body moved to PA to be with them so we did it. It was odd to think of a little baby who had lived just 1 day and had died 60 years previously and was now being moved. It meant the world to my grandmother though.

Personally I want to be cremated.

CNN is reporting that while HKS was eulogizing Anna he took some potshots at Anna's "So called family" and got some cheers. A freakshow all the way around. How can you have a memorial service with all those helicopters overhead. The whole thing is disgusting.
