Click on the thumbnail below and let me know whether or not you think Nicole Richie is wearing an engagement ring. There is an Internet rumor swirling around that Joel Madden proposed to her. It doesn’t LOOK like an engagement ring. BUT it is on the correct finger…

Maybe its just to make her feel better while she's in the nick? Esp if she's gonna have to put up with Banned!

Yesh, Nicole clearly doesn't have a coffeemaker of her own at home. She seems to live at Starbuck's and the like, given how many pics I see of her clutching takeout java. It's odd, in fact...many of these wealthy stars don't seem to know how to make coffee.

Nicole Richie isn't even that skinny anymore. She looks good here compared to what she used to. She has some meat on those thighs so i'll argue with anyone who says she still looks unhealthy or 'grossly skinny'. If she had a gut, she'd still be criticized if not more. As for the engagement ring, marriage isn't even sacred anymore. Everybody's doing it. Divorce is in.

It would lend more to the engagement argument if there was a repulsively huge, mulit-carated diamond hanging off her finger. Until then, looks like just another boring ring to me.

Speaking of things heating up ... yesterday we saw a picture of Nicole Richie wearing a ring on her left ring finger and Pink reader AMC sent me this recent photo of her boyfriend Joel Madden also wearing a similar ring on his left ring finger:
