"BRITNEY SPEARS has rubbished reports the birth of her first baby SEAN PRESTON FEDERLINE left her depressed and needing a tummy tuck.
The TOXIC hitmaker, who gave birth on 14 September (05), has been plagued by claims she regained her pop star figure through cosmetic surgery - but she insists the rumours are false.
Spears' representative LESLIE SLOANE says, "She is not depressed, nor has she had a tummy tuck.
"She is a 23-year-old mom who was in amazing shape before she got pregnant and was able to get back in shape after the baby arrived."
Meanwhile the new parents BRITNEY SPEARS and KEVIN FEDERLINE have taken to wearing photographs of each other as babies around their necks.
The couple's odd behaviour was exposed when the cute pictures were assumed to be of their new three-month-old son SEAN PRESTON.
But the pair insist it is just another way of expressing their intense love for each other.
Spears' representative LESLIE SLOANE says, "That photo Kevin is wearing around his neck is actually a photo of Britney as a baby"."

I thought they were photos of their baby? How weird, why would you want to do that? If I walked around my my other half hanging round my neck I'd be labelled a freak?

While I admit she isn't the whale I had hoped pregnancy would turn her into, I don't think she has quite gotten her pre baby body back yet.

I remember hearing something a long time ago about the two of them having one another's baby pics in pendants. Even so, I definitely would have assumed the pic was of another baby when I saw it not for one, because the pic looked *old* and more importantly, because the baby in the pic looks several months old. Little SP isn't even two months yet, and was not much more than a month when this story broke. No way could the baby in that pendant pic could be him. That's just something some dumbass tab writers (either men or a woman without a child) assumed and ran with it.

She is covering up the tummy flab like the rest of us do until that year rolls by and most of it leaves, on it's own free will. Baby Cheeto did cause quite a weight gain on her. She really would have made me think highly of her if she could have just come right out about a week after having him.
That's when you look your absolute worst. I would have cheered her on for once in her life and well as my own.

Totally with you on this...I know I'd seen her with his baby picture in a similar looking pendant. I actually thought he was probably wearing his own baby picture!

Being active while you are pregnant helps a lot with weight loss after the baby is born because your metabolism is working well.
When I was pregnant with my second kid, I worked out, did aerobics, and walked - it varied, but I did something in the way of exercise almost every single day. I gained a total of twenty pounds and it was pure baby/pregnancy weight. It was gone within a month after giving birth and I didn't have to diet or anything.
I'm sure it's the same for our gal, Britney - it's darn hard work, you know, lifting all those heavy calorie-laden coffee drinks and yelling at the staff to get her stuff and find her wayward husband. Hehe.

I do feel sorry for her in that there is this expectation that she be back to her pre-pregnancy figure by now. I hope she takes the time to enjoy motherhood a bit and doesn't worry about what the rest of us think.
She didn't care about her figure/image while she was pregnant; I doubt she's as concerned as these newsbits imply about getting back into shape immediately.
I doubt this story for that reason.
