Tyra Banks recreates Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover, with the help of airbrushing.

Tyra Banks was the first African American to ever be on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue so to celebrate Black History month she decided to re-do the famous shoot. And by "celebrate Black History month" I mean "celebrate herself." Five years ago I was in love with this woman, and now all I want to do is punch her in the throat. That's an awful lot of Photoshop for someone who supposedly embraces their body and preaches that appearance doesn't matter. Christ, it's like somebody drew her on using the original cover as a reference. The only way it could look any more processed is if they replaced her with a picture of Garfield.

This is so true, the bitch preaches about body image and then she goes and does a photoshoot that looks nothing like herself! Theres no difference between the old photo and the new! Shes fatter than that, and you can see how aibrushed the damn thing is! Is THIS the cover thats supposed to make overweight girls feel better about themselves!? What a hypocrite.

She looks awesome in the first cover, but the second one looks stupid. It's so obvious lots of air-brushing has been done, it just doesn't look natural.

But her body looks the same, i thought she said she was recreasting it because she was fatter now and 'proud of it, (remember the emotional- "so kiss my fat ass!" moment?)

She's so phoney, i knew it.

And what the hell is with her boobs in the last shot, they airbrushed the skin in between her breasts so the droopiness wouldn't be so obvious. What a phoney!!!

this shit pisses me off. Did it HAVE to be airbrushed within an inch of its life?? would it have killed them/her to have this shoot look like how she really looks? cause she aint bad. Her bod is good. But come on! this looks FAKE.

Its the second cover thats the issue. This is supposed to be present day yet she appears near enough the same size as the first cover. After preaching she doesn't care that she has gained weight - why get yourself photoshopped to look thinner? All this bullshit that she is happy in her own skin is just that.

can't see the pics. you can't hotlink pics directly from the website. you have to save them and post them on a place like imageshack otherwise they'll be little red x's.

eta: went to the superficial website. tyra's an ass. how can she say she's embracing her body as it is if she photoshopped the pic to look like she did 10 years ago? i really can't stand this stupid bitch.
