Celebrity Babylon has learned that Mischa Barton's younger sister Hania, 19, has just been checked into a rehabilitation facility to treat her addiction to pain killers. Hania Barton (who just turned 19 on February 18), was getting "out of control" according to sources close to the Barton family.

The former The O.C. star, 21, is said to be very upset about what is going on with her little sister, but is glad that she's getting the help that she needs. Photos of Hania partying over New Year's have been circulating around the Internet, and it seems that the family was not pleased with her behavior in the last six months. The family finally got their way and was able to talk Mischa into dumping her Whitestarr rocker beau Cisco Adler, 28, this month, and now they are dealing with Hania's problem."Everyone is hoping that this will be the first and last time Hania has to be in rehab," says the family source, "she's young, but she's a smart girl, she will be fine."

Now, if Mama Spears could take a lesson from Mama Barton and smack some sense into her daughter Britney Spears!

I don't know whether the parents are nice seeing as how their daughters have really questionable taste in men and lifestyle respectively and are first-hand reputed to be mean girls (not surprising), but I would be slammed if my daughter behaved the way Hania's been behaving, or if her b/f's balls showed up on the net regardless of whether they are fug and nasty (which only made it worse because they are). How absolutely mortifying!

oh sorry i just posted this by mistake before i realized someone else had already....

do you guys remember when I was telling you all about her? whatever i guess I hope she gets clean, but shes so mean ......that I can't say I really care alot

that sucks for anyone addiction is horrible, whether it is cigarettes, pain killers, pornography, or just booze. I hope she gets the help she needs and can make the best of it.

I remember watching something where Mischa was very rude to her mother and actually yelling at her. I don't think the Mom was strong enough to get the sister into rehab because she seemed like a child being yelled at. Thankfully maybe they all got together and had a hand in it.

LOL thanks, yeah I knew she was headed to rehab eventually, it was inevitable, I wish I had more nuggets.....lol the only other ones I've had I posted in the misc. section (first hand gossip).....they're kind of boring though haha

I remember seeing the picture of the crushed up substance on Hania's toungue and immediately thought "pain pills". Too bad she's a bitch but I hope she gets her shit together and goes away from LA.
