"SOMETHING About Mary star Cameron Diaz has revealed her "blonde" credentials with a ditzy theory on why she's always late.

The 33-year-old told MTV's TRL: "I exist on another time schedule and it's 15 minutes later than everybody else. But that's it, I don't go over that. I think it's rude to be on time."

So far, so goodish. But not even Professor Stephen Hawking, author of boffin bestseller A Brief History Of Time, could explain Cam's next bit of Hollybabble.

"I was 3 weeks late being born. That's 5 minutes for every week so it doesn't matter if I get up 2 hours early and I'm ready to go an hour before I'm supposed to be there"."

I fear I have encountered a language problem in this part:

So true! Thats probably why she's always 15 minutes late! How else does she get taxi's everywhere even though she never carries her purse with her!

Um, It's hard to explain. Its an English slang term. You know one of those words that you yourself know what it means but you cant explain it? Or maybe I don't know what it means. Its basically not a nice word to call a woman but not grossly offensive.

I'm late more than I'd like, but that usually has to do with trying to get a teenager out the door on time. She waits until I'm ready to go to get ready, I swear.
