Mary-Kate Olsen and her hipster boyfriend Max Snow took a break from the Manhattan rock clubs to party at an out-of-the-way Greek hotspot recently, wher e they learned to dance just like Zorba!
The two were spotted at Zodiac in the New York borough of Queens on Jan. 12, where they let loose until 2:30 in the morning with the bar's patrons.
"The place is usually filled with older Greek men," said Ntina, a Greek-American who partied with the couple. "They had no clue who Mary-Kate Olsen was.
"My cousin told me one of the Olsens was there with her boyfriend. I said, 'What would they be doing in Queens?' She said, 'I'm telling you, it's Mary-Kate.'"
Ntina later bumped into the 20-year-old former "Full House" star in the ladies' room and asked if she was who she thought she was.
"Yeah, I am," said Mary-Kate. "We heard this club was a lot of fun."
In between chain-smoking and raising toasts with Max and their friends, Mary-Kate and her main squeeze joined in a Greek line dance known as the Kalamatiano.
"My sister-in-law was teaching her how to do the dance," explained Ntina.
Mary-Kate and Max then tried a Greek freestyle dance called the Zeibekiko, which is usually done just by men. But the couple stole the show with their daring moves!
"They were dancing in the middle of a circle of men," said Ntina. "But at one point, Max picked up Mary-Kate and she straddled gus waist, bent back and doing a belly dance on his hips!"
