Rod Stewart's crush on Prince Charles' wife Camilla
ROD STEWART has developed a crush on PRINCE CHARLES' wife CAMILLA, DUCHESS OF CORNWALL after meeting her at a US gala.
Stewart performed for the couple at the VIP bash in Philadelphia - before being introduced backstage. And he admits to being blown away by the 59-year-old's looks.
The 62-year-old singer says, "She always looks glamorous to me. I can see what he sees in her, quite honestly, between you, me and the lamppost.
"For the first time in my life I was really nervous. It's not screaming hordes of fans like I'm used to.
"She was talking about how she had GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK on the iPod.

Was he drunk at the time? Camilla is average at best ... not that there's anything wrong with that ... but considering that Stewart only considers models worthy of his attention, I have a hard time believing he wasn't just saying this to be polite.

I don't think she's all that bad looking either and since she 'came out' into the public gaze she's really worked on her style and grooming to make the best of what she's got. She certainly has a brain which is more than can be said for her predecessor. She is also the best thing that ever happened to Chazza - why the dumb schmuck didn't stand up to his parents and marry her in the first place is a mystery.

I remember being happy for the two when they got married though; Camilla was always nuts about fugly old Charles and likewise him with Camilla which he expressed with his 'want to be her tampon' comment
