Could history be repeating itself in the Jackson household?

Maybe. Michael Jackson is to start a new supergroup - with his kids.

The singer, himself a child star with family group Jackson Five, wants to match their success, according to the New York Post.

He hopes Prince Michael I, eight, Paris, seven, and Prince Michael II, three, will all feature on a future album.

The paper claims that Jacko, 47, has been been taking his children to a London recording studio to teach them to sing.

Michael is notoriously bitter about his days in Jackson Five, saying he was forced to grow up too quickly.

The star has been living in Bahrain since he was cleared of child sex charges and is thought to have quit the US permanently.
