Angelina Jolie and son Maddox spent more than $700 on a shower last Friday afternoon.
Sources say the two made a pit (no pun intended) stop at Shutters On the Beach Hotel in Santa Monica and booked a room for just two hours so they could shower and freshen up.
"Angelina said they only wanted the room for two hours — time enough for them both to take a shower," says a source. "She was very sweet and seemed like a concerned mom. It was just very bizarre, when she and Brad own two houses here in Los Angeles, that she would need to spend that kind of money on a hotel room just so she and Maddox could shower."

Time enough not only for showers but for Jolie to put Maddox down for a nap and then relax and shoot up once he was asleep. 
Wanna bet? Why else would she need a PRIVATE pit stop so urgently?
I mean, maybe she just had to pee, but...... 
I don't think she molests Maddox, btw. Female molesters are statistically very rare in any case. Drugs seem far more likely to me. Otherwise, yeah, just drive on home. Granted that would take a while in the LA traffic mentioned above...so....maybe she didn't wanna wait for her fix.

More money that could have gone to charity that she blew on something lavish. I have a lot more respect for the average Joe who is on a tight budget yet sacrifices to give money to the less well off than some multi-millionaire airhead who can afford to give money away and still live a lavish lifestyle. The money is no sweat off of her back and she uses the donations and the subsequent press releases that come with it to buy herself good publicity.
And you can tell just how vulnerable Maddox is (Angelina's quote in that interview on why she feels more for him and Zahara) when he is taking $700 showers
