Unhappy Ugh! Rachael Ray's show just renewed for two more years

Quote:
Already a household name, syndie newcomer Rachael Ray will now spend more time in living rooms across the country. Rachael Ray will spend at least two more years on CBS after her show was renewed through the 2009-2010 season, Roger King announced today

Rachael Ray has been consistently scoring the highest ratings out of the new batch of syndie talk shows--a shining light in a season of dismal ratings for new talkers.

Stations renewing Rachael Ray include the CBS owned-and-operated stations in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas-Fort Worth, Boston, Miami and Denver as well as stations in the following top 30 markets: WXIA-TV, Atlanta (Gannett Broadcasting);KPRC-TV, Houston (Post-Newsweek); WDIV-TV, Detroit (Post-Newsweek); KARE-TV, Minneapolis-St. Paul (Gannett Broadcasting); WKYC-TV, Cleveland (Gannett Broadcasting); WKMG-TV, Orlando (Post-Newsweek); WMAR-TV, Baltimore (Scripps
Howard); and KGTV, San Diego.

Rachael Ray is produced by CBS Television Distribution in association with Harpo Productions, Scripps Networks and Watch Entertainment.

Honestly!! Who here watches her show? Not me, yet I see it's produced by Oprah's production company, so that explains a lot.

There are already too many hyperactive celebrities on tv without her jumping on the bandwagon. but whatever. I cannot watch shows with hyperactive celebrities. I keep The View and Regis turned way down until the person I want to see comes on. Then the sounds goes back down again, or the tv goes off altogether.

I don't watch talk shows at all ... okay, I occasionally watch Maury, but that doesn't count because his show is all screaming and crying. Haha.

Oh for the good old days - Phil Donahue, Sally Jesse Raphael, and Jenny Jones. *sigh*

^^ Kiss those days goodbye along with the music channels that USED to play music videos, instead of stupid reality shows!

I saw her show for the first time yesterday and it really wasn't that bad. Running out of room before a rock hits me in the head.

It's certainly not my fault that her show has been renewed.

I love Maury. I look forward to being sick so I can catch the "who's my baby daddy" episodes!! They are the best. I hate it when the one time out of a hundred he shows something else!!!

Maury Povich is literally, the best show on TV. It's brilliant. I love it.

And this Rachel Ray, never seen the show, and never plan on seeing it. Just the site of her makes me angry. And the fact that she is actually having success makes me mental.

I think she's cute. Don't watch her show, but that's because I don't have time.

Well I guess that's another show being renewed for the "easily-amused dumbass" demographic.
