I don't wear fur (I live in Phoenix, not much call for it here!) but I don't think fur would get the bad rap it has if these animals were treated in a humane way. I've seen these videos with animals skinned alive and it is absolutely horrifying. I'm sorry but Jay Z can't play stupid on this, he knows full well what's going. Him and his girlfriend are SOOOO over rated. They both seem like ugly people.

I honestly don't think Jay Z knew it was made from real fur. His supplier probably lied to him...

I agree, fur is ugly- unless its on its rightful owner.

Do they actually have to skin them? Why not just shave them like they do sheeps.
I hate any fur coats. They are ugly in my opinion.

They have to skin an animal with fur, unfortunately. In a way, a sheep's wool is like a garden- you grow it, you harvest it, and you transform the product into something else. You can't trim fur off a fox and treat it the same way. In order to make something with fur, you need the pelt.
