Angelina Jolie's new clothes

January 15, 2007 -- SHE may act like a saint, but Angelina Jolie is every bit the celebrity diva. After signing a very lucrative contract with St. John, the mother of three is obligated to wear the designer's duds to all major red-carpet events. However, it seems she hasn't been thrilled with the dresses she was asked to wear to the Golden Globes tonight. Women's Wear Daily reports Jolie has been "less than ecstatic with the clothes as of late," and, "the St. John team has been working overtime to make her happy." "She is definitely very particular," said one fashion insider, who also revealed the star is fond of Kitson, Theory, and alice + olivia. "I am not at all surprised she is making them tweak things." WWD reports St. John is working on two options to please the picky A-Lister, "one gray and one black." Reps for Jolie did not return our calls.

I always kinda thought St John's & Angelina didn't really mesh well together.

St. John's is a local company here in OC. I've read that they have gone back to using the original model. AJ is hardly the typical St. John's woman and women that wear this type of clothing probably don't relate to AJ all that well.

This is not important. It has no relevance, but has anyone noticed that AJ ( Angelina Jolies initials are JA Jennifer Anistons reversed?)

EXACTLY. gray is a familiar color for her. her skin used to be that shade when she was on heroine.

I have always thought St. John's was crazy to hire her. She is the last person I would think of wearing that designer. I wear that designer and I'm as far from Angelina as you can get. I guess that was the point, but it doesn't work.

well if i'd been offered that much money to wear boring st.john i would have accepted too. it's the company's problem if it doesn't work out.
i like jolie's style. i don't think there's anything wrong with wearing a lot of black and grey.
