Default Married ... With Children's Katey Sagal and husband welcome a baby girl

Former "Married ... With Children" star Katey Sagal gets to prove she's a better mother than Peg Bundy.
The 52-year-old actress and her husband, writer-producer Kurt Sutter, 43, are the brand-new parents of a baby girl, reports People.
Esme Louise Sutter was born Jan. 10 via surrogate.
Sagal married Sutter in a private ceremony in October 2004 at their Los Feliz, Calif., home. She was previously married to Freddie Beckmeier and Jack White, with whom she has two children: Sarah Grace, 12, and Jackson James, 10.
The actress was most recently seen as a recurring guest star on "Boston Legal." She's also appeared on "Lost" and will reprise her role as the voice of the sexy, one-eyed pilot Leela on "Futurama," which will go back into production at Comedy Central.

Well, at least it was through a surrogate.....unlike some of the other 'older' moms we've been reading about recently. Congrats.

Wow, talk about waiting late in life.
I would hate to have a child at 52, I don't feel like I could enjoy their life.

Whoa, me too. Hopefully by that age I'll be sitting back waiting for the grandbabies to start filling my lap.

    Congratulations to them though!

Well, she's past fifty and has probably gone through menopause ... her choices would either be a surrogate or adoption.

I definitely wouldn't want a baby at that age. No way.

She's quite a singer as well. She has albums out there. She's always reminded me of Chrissy Hynde (in the looks department) who I LOVEEEE!

Most women want a baby when they get a new man......some primitive thing probably. But not when you are grandmother stage. She must have desperately wanted the little tyke though. Good luck to her.

Personally, I would not want a baby at that age, but hey, if that's what she wants...here's to her!
