Britney Spears, Kevin Federline agree on custody – for now

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have agreed upon a custody arrangement for their two sons – at least for the month of January, court papers reveal.

As TMZ.com reported, Spears, 25, will have custody of Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 4 months, most of the time.

According to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE, Federline, 28, will be allowed to see the boys three times a week for four hours between Jan. 12 and 31 at Spears's residence.

Both parties agreed that the only people allowed at the visitation will be Spears, Federline, a nanny, Spears's personal assistant and household staff.

Meanwhile, Spears is permitted to take the children to Miami from Jan. 5 to 11. She has agreed to keep Federline apprised of her location while in the city.

The arrangement only applies for the month of January.

Spears filed for divorce on Nov. 7, seeking sole custody of the children; in documents filed the next day, Federline also asked for sole custody.

This seems to be her way of maintaining some sort of contact with him because anyone can tell you that ain't standard visitation.....

He agreed to supervised visitation? He probably can’t afford to care for them
overnight.

I'm thinking he's probably asking for this frequent visitation to establish how much he's interested in spending time with his kids, to make him look like a good parent and use that as leverage in the ongoing custody battle.

It's probably a simple matter of he doesn't have a stable home base right now. He's probably staying with friends or family.

Sounds like he got a raw deal. Can't bring his parents or other kids or even take the kids anywhere. Must be nice to be able to have others cave into your demands.

Some people live for that (having people cave). But I think in this case it's prolly more of a CPS-like issue (child protective services). He hasn't shown the best judgment in his activities, though I think his heart is prolly in the right place toward the kids.

And she has? I mean there aren't pictures of him riding around with a baby sitting on his lap in a car. If anybody should have supervision, it should be her. I just thought it kind of funny that she can demand that the kids stay at the house and he can't take them anywhere but yet she has to get permission from him to take them out of state? Strange. I mean in the real world that you and I live in, the out of state thing is the same but where and who the parent can take their kids? Wrong. Both parents have equal rights. It just messed up that she can do that to him and he is not fighting that.

Come on - this guy doesn't give a shit about ANY of his four children. When was the last time he spent any time with the other 2?? Of course no one has seen him doing anything questionable with his and britney's babies; he barely spent any time with them. .Pictures if him with Sean Preston are very few and far between.

He's made a big deal out of the last two because there is a pay out where they are concerned
