Carrie Underwood dating Jessica Simpson's rumoured boyfriend

Romo, who plays for the Dallas (Texas) Cowboys had been romantically linked with Simpson, but Romo and Underwood made their first appearance as a couple on Christmas day (25DEC06).

The former AMERICAN IDOL winner surprised sportsgoers with her appearance at the Texas Stadium, where she was seen hugging Romo on the field before his game against the Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) Eagles.

Romo confirmed the two were dating to the Journal Gazette/Times-Courier, a small-town paper in Charleston, Illinois, where he played college football.

Sports editor BRIAN NIELSEN says, "After I asked him all my usual football questions, I said, 'My wife really wants to know if the Jessica Simpson dating rumours are true.' He laughed and replied, 'No. Tell her I'm dating Carrie Underwood.'"

This is really embarrassing for Jessica. It's now the second time that she's tried to claim or insinuate that she was dating someone and had the guy publicly state that she's full of shit. She really needs to stop letting Creepy Pa Simpson call the tabloids and sell them false stories about Jessica and her "boyfriends".

Why is Jessica having such issues with guys?
On a side note, did anyone see her on Rachael Ray's show? I saw it a couple of days ago I'm not sure if it was a repeat or not but Jessica was pathetic, she looked like a lost little girl in a grocery store.

Oprah said on her blooper show last week that Faith Hill is the "most down to earth person". WTF??!! All I saw was an overly made up face who was acting all sweet and nice when she was on display. What was really happening, she was pissed that she was upstaged by that guy who proposed to one of Oprah's staff. Her thunder had been stolen and you could tell her teeth were gritted through her lovely little "smile". She's not fooling me, and she's not down to earth. Fame has changed her like it changes most of them. I never thought I would say this, but she's a bitch. Her front has cracked.

She's having trouble because guys can't get past the T&A. That's all they see in the beginning....then they get to know her. She has nothing between the ears. Not to mention that her father runs every aspect of her life. Who wants to involve themselves in that drama? Anyone who watched the show could tell she couldn't do anything BUT sing. How could you possibly sustain a marriage under those dire circumstances? They were doomed from the start.

All I can think is that Nick must be counting his blessings she pulled out of the marriage. Vanessa is much more his match.
