    Monica Lewinsky Gets Master's Degree
    By UPI
    Dec 21, 2006

LONDON, Dec. 21, 2006 (UPI) -- Monica Lewinsky has earned a master's of science degree from the London School of Economics, People magazine reported Thursday.

Lewinsky, 32, is best remembered for her White House intern affair with former U.S. President Bill Clinton during his second term in office.

Her degree is in the field of social psychology and her thesis was titled "In Search of the Impartial Juror." When she crossed the stage to receive her degree, an audience of students and parents greeted her with an enthusiastic round of applause, in an "emotional moment" for Lewinsky.

Lewinsky spent the last year studying and staying away from the London social scene, and is currently interviewing for jobs in Britain, People reported.

As someone who is working on a graduate degree I admire this, knowing how hard it is to hit the books and write papers when you'd sometimes rather just chill and have fun. I wish her the best. A formerly naive young girl of privilege is finally finding some good new stuff to make the memories fade. I truly do not think I could have survived that kind of humiliation.

Yeah she'll always be known for that but hopefully she'll find success in her new life.

I remember her appearance on the Tom Green show. She's pretty funny.

Getting involved with the Pres really ruined her rep for life, sad to say. Just seeing her name brings up all the jokes again.

Yup, the jokes will always be around.

Last month George Galloway came here to do a presentation. He is a famous politician from the Respect party in Britain and part of the anti-war movement. So, he was telling us how he gave a presentation at the London School of Economics, and during his presentation he was giving a metaphor of how he does not want the U.S. and Britain to have the same kind of relationship that Monica Lewinsky and the former U.S. president had, with the weaker one on their knees. Then someone puts their hand up in the audience and they are like, "Uh, sir.....Monica Lewinsky is here sitting in the 5th row". George Galloway excused himself and graciously apoligized to her and said he will never tell the joke again, which is a promise he broke. *lol* But she took it very well and laughed along.

It must be SO humiliating for her.

I feel bad for Hilary because her husband cheated, but I like Monica.

My mom STILL doesn't believe that Clinton cheated on his wife. I'm like "Mom, he admitted it." "NO, HE DIDN'T. DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT."

Holy crap. Well, she either went home and sobbed into her pillow, or she's truly moved on and went out for drinks and laughs in one of those pubs that's on every corner over there.

She can get 5 PhD's. She'll still be the most famous cocksucker in history.

Actually I'd give her props if she got 5 PhDs because she'd probably be 120 years old
