Christmas is a time to spread joy, innit folks? That’s why Carrie Underwood decided she wants to give something back to the ol’ troopers with a tour at the Persian Gulf.
Her Spokesperson said: “She’s completely excited about it. She does have some band members that are able to go with her over there, so they’re all just really jazzed.”
Well, that really is a nice thing to do for these man and women. Maybe while she’s at it she can convince them to stop and come back home.
Okay, I know this is gonna sound strange, but have you noticed how it's always country music stars (Dixie Chicks excluded) who are the first to rush to to support the troops and be overly patriotic? I remember when 9/11 first happened and there were a million country-western songs talking about "don't mess with the U.S. or we'll put a boot in your ass" or something equally stupid like that.
