(KP International) Rumour has it Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony could be the next celebrity couple to look into adopting a child from abroad.

Apparently the musical couple want to keep true to their roots and could be looking into adopting a child from Puerto Rico.

"Jen and Marc are dying to have kids but it just doesn't seem to be working for them," a source said. "Jen realizes she's not getting any younger, so they've jointly decided that adoption may be the answer to their prayers." The source added that Lopez and Anthony have had "some very serious conversations about it" and feel Puerto Rico is the perfect place because both of their parents were from there.

I'm not fond of JLo; espec since she started to be courted by the scientology team (hum, "become a diva, check. Launch a product range I wouldn't be seen dead in, check. Marry a "superstar", check. I feel really sad for them actually if all the stories are true because she seems absolutely desperate to become a mother. If adoption is for them then good for them, adopting a child is a wonderful thing to do

Puerto Rico is a part of the United States, it's a common wealth. They are American citizens.
