Oh, this is really sad!
Never liked that woman...allways thought she got with Steve for the money game!!!
Oh boy, Terri is really helping her prancing pony daughter get over her grief, eh? It's SO good to see this unsung heroine carrying on with her father's "wildlife conservation" work with absolutely no commercial angleInteresting to note that if anyone dares to question Stage Mom Terri's motives here she gets really defensive and antsy. HA!

BINDI IRWIN will star in her own stage show in the US next month on a double bill with the kings of kids' entertainment, The Wiggles.
The eight-year-old daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin announced on US television yesterday she would perform the concerts in Los Angeles and New York. The young wildlife warrior promised her high-energy show, called Bindi and the Crocmen, would have Americans on their feet.
"We're doing some dances which will be really fun because all the people get to get up and dance along with us," Bindi told US TV show Good Morning America.
The concerts are part of the annual G'Day USA: Australia Week 2007 festivities being staged in Los Angeles and New York in January to promote Australia to Americans.
Bindi's father had been a great supporter of the festival in past years.
With Bindi performing on the same bill as The Wiggles, the tickets, on sale for up to $US65 ($A82), will be hot property.
Incorporated into Bindi's act will be an animal show in which she will be joined on stage by her mother, Terri, and her dad's "best mate" and Australia Zoo director, Wes Mannion.
Bindi charmed her American audience by telling them she was coping with her father's death. "We're doing pretty good, we're battlin' on," Bindi said.

Respect is given when respect is deserved.
Just more proof that Bindi is clueless and her momma is a money grubbing whore. Who can share the stage with the Wiggles without their total freakiness rubbing off on you? Bad deal all the way around.

This is all wrong on so many levels. Or is this part of the grieving process?

Can't Terri Irwin at least wait a year before pimping out Bindi?
I have no opinion here really. I saw the interview Terri did with Barbara Walters, she looked very genuine. She started sobbing every other minute. I don't think it was for the money. She has tons of it now that he is gone, and she could have just backed into the background and dissapeared. She isn't.
If her father was a big supporter in the past why not. Just before he died they were working on having Bindi have her own show. I think she likes doing it. Maybe it is her idea, not her mom's.
If I can't be a good example, then let me be a horrible warning.
Jeez this is so wrong, nothing like cashing in on your dad's death :/
I smile because I have no idea what's going on

I really don't care if Terri wants to pimp out her daughter in all these crass, commercial ventures. The poor kid has never know any different - she was shoved in front of a camera literally the moment she was born when Steve showed up in the delivery room with a film crew to record the happy event. But we please have some HONESTY here about her motives (and Steve's for that matter). It's ALL about the money and this constant bleating about doing it for wildlife conservation and protecting the environment is total bollocks.
Bindi lives in a compound, Australia Zoo, isolated from any kind of normality. She is home schooled and her days revolve around filming herself 'conserving' crocodiles and other dangerous creature by making them perform circus tricks for an adoring public. It's really not her fault, but her parents (now only her mother) have a LOT to answer for.

Personally, I think Bindi has a pretty good head on her shoulders. Compared to most young kids I see out there today, I'd say both Terri and Steve have done a great job raising her.
I've just accepted that they've all lived a very different lifestyle than all of us and they don't really know any different. That doesn't necessarily mean it's bad or wrong. When I read the article in the link below, I got a very different idea of where Bindi was coming from. If this is how she copes than good for her.
As for Terri, I truly believe she's doing what she thinks is best for her kids. We can't judge her. I genuinely believe she and Steve had a legitimate love story. I saw the Barbara Walters special too and nobody will ever convince me that she was faking her way through that interview. Her whole life revolved around Steve and their kids.

i really don't believe that terri is in all of this for the money. Either she is a really good actress or she genuinely loves Steve and her kids. As her acting was absolutely atrocious in that movie i am going to go with the theory that she genuinely loves her kids. Bindi was also doing this before her father died, i don't think Terri or any other mother would choose to deny her child of something that she clearly loves doing.
Alicia Silverstone: "I think that the film Clueless was very deep. I think it was deep in the way that it was very light. I think lightness has to come from a very deep place if it's true lightness."
I never for one moment doubted that Terri and Steve were soulmates and they both adore(d) their children. I just question whether it's healthy to be giving Bindi all this high profile public exposure while she comes to terms with the death of her much-loved father. She may have a good head on her shoulders, and she's obviously very smart and mature for her age, but she's still only a little girl and I fear that she's expected to deal with her grief in an 'adult' way by throwing herself into work. And what the hell is a kid that age doing 'working' anyway???
