Kevin Federline notices people think he's a sleazebag

December 7, 2006 -- BRITNEY Spears' ex, Kevin Federline, is finally starting to realize people think he's a sleazebag - and is desperately trying to change his image. Not only did he send out a press release yesterday stating that he had replaced his trademark chains and wife-beater tank top for a suit jacket and button-down shirt (although the pants remain at half mast), he's also trying to learn how to sound smart. Federline and his posse randomly showed up at the Village Vanguard last week to catch the book launch of David Matalon and Chris Woolsey's tome, "The Concise Guide to Sounding Smart at Parties." Witnesses say that Fed-ex "actually chatted up the authors and seemed interested in how to sound smart." But eventually, his true nature took over: "He and his buddies went to the bar and pounded Everglo liquor shots for the rest of the night. They were really there for the free booze. Pathetic."

I don't know, I think he's in a great position right now. Brit is doing nothing but making him look like the bright one in the relationship. The more stupid stuff he does, the better off he looks. Admittedly, his clean hair cut and suits do make him look better....they at least hide the sleeze within.

I think you are thinking Working Girl, although Don Johnson was not in that movie, it was Harrison Ford.

He is definitely in a great position right now. Just like Britney was in a great position just a few weeks ago. (when she announced her divorce) Except SHE totally BLEW IT. I have a feeling that K-Fed might be a bit smarter than we give him credit for, and that he probably learned from Shitney's mistakes she's made in the public eye in the past month--and therefore, he'll avoid making similar mistakes. He's got a very high-profile lawyer representing him, who i'm sure will steer K-Fed towards a new, good image--that of a *misunderstood, good father, who was married to a vulgar drugged-up borderline-mentally-impaired tramp*, in a bid to gain custody of the kids. I bet that in the near future we see K-Fed making a full-throttle effort at an image overhaul & all-out effort to get custody of the kids away from Shitney. Like i've said before, i bet K-Fed has some tricks up his sleeve; some "aces in the hole".... I don't like him, but i wouldn't count him out just yet. Just my thoughts...

I just looked it up on imdb, it's "Born Yestarday". Hilarious movie. Don Johnson also tries to make Melanie Griffith "sound smart". He should try it with FedEx, too.

I don't like him either, but I will completely concede that he's light years ahead of Britney in the intelligence department. If only because it seems he is LISTENING to the experts he hired to help him. She could learn a lot from that alone.

It's a VERY good move to learn how to "sound smart," even if it's for the purpose of his no-good douche-baggery agenda and making himself look good in court to increase his chances of scoring more $$$. Motivations are wrong, but he IS making an effort to improve, which is more than can be said for Britney, who erroneously thinks she can do no wrong.
