Default Ed Burns thinks fatherhood is the best thing ever

    http://people.aol.com/people/article...564180,00.html

Ed Burns made his name as one of the brothers in The Brother McMullen. Now, the role of father suits him best.

"Love it. It's the best thing ever," the 38-year-old Holiday star tells PEOPLE.com of fatherhood.

Burns and his wife, model Christy Turlington, 37, are the proud parents of 3-year-old daughter Grace and 10-month-old son Finn.

Like their famous actor/director father, Burns's kid love movies – to a point. "We saw Happy Feet. The seals scared my daughter," Burns said Tuesday night at a Grand Classics screening of his favorite movie, Peter Bogdanovich's The Last Picture Show in New York.

Of course, Burns and Turlington face the same logistical challenges as parents everywhere. Said one attendee at the screening: "Christy couldn't come tonight because she had to stay at home because of the kids."

Burns introduced The Last Picture Show to a jam-packed audience at Soho House in Manhattan. Asked what was special about the movie, he said: "It has been a film I could go to every couple years, especially when I am having a panicked moment of 'Remind yourself why you fell in love with movies and what it is you want to do.'"

The event was sponsored by Tous and The Week magazine.

"Christy couldn't come tonight because she had to stay at home because of the kids." It's because he doesn't have to do anything.
Into the sunrise. The sunset is sad to me….it only means the night is coming.
