BEN AFFLECK has warned movie bosses he'll star in the BAYWATCH movie adaptation if they don't give him another directing job. The PEARL HARBOR star is desperate to quit acting so he can concentrate on working behind the camera instead. And he's given producers an ultimatum - either employ him again after seeing his directing talents in forthcoming release GONE, BABY, GONE, or he'll shamelessly take on DAVID HASSELHOFF's role in Baywatch. He tells Hotdog magazine, "I hope that people like the movie enough that they would hire me to direct another movie. "If not, it's strapping on those Speedos, getting on a surfboard and doing the film adaptation of Baywatch." Gone, Baby, Gone is Affleck's second foray into directing - his debut was 1993's I KILLED MY LESBIAN WIFE, HUNG HER ON A MEAT HOOK, AND NOW I HAVE A THREE-PICTURE DEAL AT DISNEY.
