Lionel Richie is desperate for his daughter Nicole to settle down and marry Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney.

The crooner is convinced Clooney would be great for the former tearaway.

He says, "George would be a good influence on Nicole. He's a dependable fatherly kind of guy. Plus he owns a house in Italy that I almost bought and I've love to see inside it."

Moomies, how in the world are you finding all of these? I think the last 5 articles you've posted have made me laugh and have my jaw drop with the completely inane statements that are made by the people in them! It's a refreshing way to end a work day!

Well, I'm sure a lot of dads would want their daughters to hook up with George Clooney. He's a handsome, successful, cool guy. Not sure if Clooney is gay or not, but I can't see him putting up with Nicole's immaturity and weight/drug(?) problems.
