Jennifer Lopez has been dealt another crushing blow in her quest for motherhood.

The 36-year-old Latin beauty underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) with a Beverly Hills specialist in mid-October – only to get the heartbreaking news from an ultrasound earlier this month that the procedure had failed.

But Jennifer's so determined to have a baby with her husband, singer Marc Anthony, that she's going to undergo the grueling procedure again, says a source close to the star.

"She's tried everything else without success, and though IVF has failed once, she knows it's the only hope left for her to get pregnant," said the source.

"Marc is supporting Jennifer all the way. He knows how much she wants to be a mother."

Of course it's not wrong to want a biological child that is yours. It used to be that people would try for a bio child but were able to accept that it may not be in the cards for them. Nowadays it seems that women can wait until they're 60 and then undergo years of every kind of treatment. It's their body. so I really don't care. Adoption is far from being perfect, especially in today's climate of birth mothers 'changing their minds' and birth fathers coming out of the woodwork when the kid is 12 and demanding custody or visitation.

I agree with Sunshine - however, I'm not sure JLOs dna should be "replicated". She's in a bad situation - if she adopts, then she's probably wanting to be like AJ, if she has her own child, she's selfish, if she chooses not to have a child at all, she's selfish (but smart if that freaky cadeavor husband of hers would be the father) and if she has her own, but gets a nanny, shes' a selfish fucking rich bitch - lets' be honest, it doesn't matter what she does, it'll be wrong!

I do think that being a mother doesn't mean the baby has to be "yours", but if she wants to conceive a child, more power to her. She has the money and the time to try, so let her at it.

I dunno...with the exception of the youngest, his kids are probably old enough to know what a succubus bitch she is. Adoption would only possibly satisfy her if he didn't have bio kids (and therefore an eternal *bond* that she doesn't have with him) with someone else.

BTW, Doesn't she have a couple abortions in her past? I know it's been discussed before. So that's one more possibility besides having waited until her ovaries were stale. Besides, the idea of her as a mom scares me worse than Faye Dunaway in Mommie Dearest.
