Jamie Foxx threatens to physically harm Michael Richards
Foxx Threatens Racist Richards
By WENN| Wednesday, November 22, 2006
HOLLYWOOD - Enraged Jamie Foxx has threatened to physically harm former Seinfeld star Michael Richards if the pair ever meet after the comedian stunned America with a racist rant during a recent stand-up show.
Richards has publicly apologized for remarks he made about two African-American hecklers during a performance at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood on Friday night--but that's not enough for Foxx.
The Oscar winner, who was once a mainstay of the Los Angeles comedy circuit, admits he was particularly offended by Richards' remarks.
He says, "When I see him, it's on. I'm not going to let him get away with it."
"If I'd have been in the audience he would've had to put his dukes up. He probably should go get a private island somewhere, cause if I see him..."

That's a pretty intelligent response, Jaime. You're on par with Michael, now.
Did anyone see him on Oprah yesterday? I only watched a couple of minutes of it but he had his hands all over those women. Ewww.

Actually, i don't blame Jamie ONE BIT for making these remarks. I found Richards' hatred so vile, that while i myself don't particularly have the desire to punch him (instead, i feel more bad for that pathetic excuse for a human being for being so ignorant, malicious & hate-filled), i DO certainly understand how a person could want to punch Richards out. In my opinion, Richards might well deserve a good ass-kicking for his horrible, hurtful, disgusting display of hatred.--Anything that might make his ignorant ass think twice before spewing such hurtful comments again. IMO, Jamie acting immature is very excuseable under these circumstances. GO JAMIE!!!

^ I agree, GoldDust77.
Micheal was my favorite on Seinfield, I'm really disapointed about what a jerk he turned out to be.

Am i so horrible? I really dont think what he said was so bad. Yes, it was racist, but if the shoe was on the other foot and it was a black guy insulting a white guy, there wouldn't be as much fuss. And those guys started it anyway. I dont like racism, but I have been in situations before where white people have fought with black people and the racial slurs all come out; thats all that seems to come to mind to say. I know its nasty, but I think people are really overreacting. The other day i was watching an Eddie murphy stand up routine and he was insulting italians, ive seen other comedians insult other races. I'm still a Michael Richards fan, i dont think he was that horrible. And if you see the video, people are laughing after the first few things he said.

I don't agree with the way Richards acted, but IMO Jamie Foxx threatening him makes him look just as ignorant. Yes, Jamie, the way to react to him is violence. He says the n word, you beat his ass. Makes perfect sense to me......

I agree with you, sweetrebel. Jamie Foxx needs to take the higher ground and not stoop to Michael Richards' level. I don't know what was going on in Richards' head when he was spouting all that nonsense. Can you say, "internal censor"? His must not have been working that night.

that was not nice KD. YPT has a right to her opinion and she did not express it in a nasty way and did not make any personal attacks against other board members. ( I do disagree with her as you do). *lightly smacks KD's hand for her sly attack! )
YPT you have to consider the huge amount that black people have suffered in a historical perspective. Just 150 years ago they were not even considered fully human-they were PROPERTY. That kind of suffering runs deep and through the generations.

I re-read my post and I think I said the wrong thing; I studied the poor way African Americans were treated while I was at school and it made me very upset...... really all i can say is that I'm just trying to defend Kramer because I've always been a fan of his. Maybe he went too far, but he was provoked as well.
