Angelina Jolie is hoping to get pregnant and adopt an orphan from Haiti before Christmas, according to reports.

(BANG) - Angelina Jolie is hoping to get pregnant and adopt an orphan from Haiti before Christmas, it has been claimed.

Angelina and partner Brad Pitt have reportedly made a 'baby bargain' after failing to agree if their next child should be conceived naturally or adopted and have decided to do both.

A source said: "Not only is Angelina preparing to conceive again but the couple have spent eight months planning to adopt a baby from Haiti."
Brad, 42, and Angelina, 31, first visited the impoverished Caribbean nation in January, to show their support for rapper Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti foundation, but they also visited an orphanage in Port-au-Prince.

According to a British magazine, Brad returned to Haiti in March, just days before Angelina gave birth to daughter Shiloh, but claimed he was visiting the nearby Dominican Republic.

The source said: "Brad told reporters he was visiting Dominican Republic to discuss a property deal but he was actually talking to lawyers about starting the adoption process."

Haiti law says applicants must be over 35 and married, but the authorities do make exceptions.

The couple are said to be planning to spend Christmas in the Virgin Islands, just an hour away from Haiti.

They're children, Brangelina;they are not hats, shoes, or kitschy collectibles. I'm sure Brangelina acolytes will violently disagree, but it seems obvious to me that this rush to acquire kids is some kind of hobby or obsession. What's really disgusting is that they're unmarried but still able to adopt, but exceptions are made because they are INTERNATIONAL STARS. Ordinary adoptive parents must follow the rules, but not these two. Brangelina fanatics will say "ain't they great cuz they're so special", but I disagree. I am thoroughly sick of Brangelina's escapades.

Madonna didn't adopt her kid from Haiti though. There must be some sort of inferiority complex where Angelina needs validation from the love of others so she fills up on children.

I do understand her wanting to save children from the lives that they could have, but I think that it is wrong because she is shortchanging the one's she already has. I feel like she and Brad (if he hangs around long enough) will be spreading themselves thin if they keep adding onto the brood. It just shortens the amount of one-on-one quality time that each one can have with the kids because they are so many of them. It also lessens the amount of one-on-one time that she and Brad can have.

I love both of my kids, but I already know that each one of them wants some time alone with me and without the other. Hubby feels the same way.

I know Madonna didn't adopt from Haiti. In the end, it has made no difference where she adopted from. The rules were bent, weren't they? Just the same as the rules will be bent for Angelina. While so many decent, loving families sit on waiting lists for YEARS praying for a child they can adopt.......
