LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Beyoncé Knowles has admitted she is "cheap".
The 25-year-old singer-and-actress, who has sold 50 million albums and appeared in a string of hit films, says she would rather invest her money than spend it on luxury cars or expensive jewellery.
She said: "I really am kind of cheap! I need to invest in something and I really love art. I don't buy cars. The first cheque I got when I was 16, I bought a car and I haven't bought another car since.
"I don't buy jewellery. I bought a really big diamnd ring when I was 16 and everyone said I was engaged. I was like, 'I can't even wear it!' I haven't bought anything else since."
Beyoncé has also revealed she dresses as a boy in public - to avoid attention.
The 'Dreamgirls' star, who admits she is painfully shy when she isn't performing, said: "I go running with my trainer through Central Park in disguise. I dress as a boy."

I don't spend a dime either when majority of things are given to me! She has champagne money with kool-aid taste when she's in chill mode she dresses hood rich, I find that tacky but anyways I still like the biatch.

well i didnt want to get all into 'sterotyping'... BUT givin her back background and how it IS in houston... i could see why her being cheep now could very well of derived form her growing up where she did... and going to Alief Elsik...
