I don't really know much of these two , but he's coming across as mature and she's coming off as a heartless bitch. Is she a porn star??

I like the idea of having a divorce party. It's better than moaning and whining and throwing a, ahem, pity party. Of course, she could have done it with slightly more flair and much less tackiness.

I don't blame her for havng the party. I was all for Travis and then he started sleeping with banned. he seems more obsessed with her than she is with him sometimes.

So do I, I think it could be a great idea - to mark the end of something old and the beginning of something new. But she just seems be set on stirring up more shit, rather than doing it for her own sake. They're both acting like spoiled kids over this.

^ I always thought people did that anyway - without that much publicity.
I always here about guys taking their “buddy” out for drinks or a to a strip club after a break-up or divorce. And I know I took my friend out to get some drinks & shoot pool the day her divorce was finalized. It seems like a natural part of healing after all the hurt and anger.

This dude Travis has a lot of fricken nerve!! He's out there making out with that blonde Hilton bimbo before he's even a divorced man and he's BOTHERED that Shanna's having a divorce party?!?!? Would he feel better if Shanna were slashing her wrists over him? He's an idiot and a jerk. The more I hear him speak, he comes across as an egotistical, heartless coward who couldn't even handle marriage. Oh, it's all Shanna's fault and not his....yeah, okay. Maybe he should go get some more tattoos or do something 'constructive' instead of bad mouthing the ex-wife and whining like some little bitch on his MySpace page. I get the distinct feeling that he wanted out of the marriage and is using any excuse to try and make her the bad guy so he doesn't have to live with any guilt. I'm so glad Shanna slapped that Hollywood whore--while she was at it, she should've slapped Travis too!
Divorce party--good idea. Throw the past behind you and celebrate a new life instead of crying over a man who's not worth it.
Shanna Defends Her Divorce Party
Shanna Moakler has responded to her ex Travis Barker's rant on his MySpace regarding her divorce party.
"First and foremost, I find playing a seperation out in the public arena not only immature, but quite frankly in poor taste, BUT I feel I have to stand up for myself at this point. Airing dirty laundry is not a hard task, it doesn't take any skill on putting your ex's personal business or faults out in the public. It doesnt take a lot of skill to LIE to make others look bad. I do not conveniently and for my best interest edit and leave huge parts of the stories out. I have since tried to take the high road and turn the other cheek even when my soon to be ex was verbally bashing me on the Internet, in the media and flaunting his spiteful and vindictive relationships in my face. I am NOT the one running around the world with the town drug obsessed clown who is the epitome of everything I claim I am NOT! I have been forced to defend myself, my character and my morals and values all the while still not putting my ex on blast. Travis has made our marriage and all that we stood for a joke at this point with his actions and creative story telling and I will find it very hard to ever forgive him. I have no problems going to Vegas and celebrating a day that wasn't the end of my life, but the beginning, beside being mentally and verbally abused in my marriage, I sat home alone ignored and disrespected and I still wasn't the one who left because I took my vows seriously and they actually meant something to me! This is not a new concept, infact this has nothing to do with me having a party in Vegas at all and my ex knows that. I will not after this day spend another ounce of energy defending myself to a camp of people whose motives are to LIE and knock others down when they find happiness. At the end of the day, I have had many accomplishments BEFORE my marriage and I'll have many more after, I moved to california to become an actress when I was 19! I've worked hard, I feel blessed to have the opportunities that I have and I don't feel an ounce of guilt for taking them. I'm sorry that my ex feels I am beneath him as a person, as a woman and that I am not worthy of him and his band of flunkys, I guess i will have to live with that."

Well, I really don’t know what went on with those two.
Travis seemed “under the influence” of SOMETHING most of the time, but did seem to have a genuine love for Shanna and at least Landon (his son). Travis also stated when he found out Shanna was pregnant, which I don’t think SHE was all that happy about, he hoped it was a little girl & she would be his Christmas present. Their daughter Alabama Luella was born Dec 24th, and only 9 months later the divorce papers were filed.
Then it was stated that Shanna cheated on him, and the mudslinging and public displays of immaturity have run rampart. I think the whole thing with Paris was tacky for both of the Barkers. Travis wasn’t divorced yet, and he should have been more discreet if he was seeing someone - especially someone like Paris, I wouldn’t go running to tell my friends I hooked up with the local skank (Yeah, way to go buddy - that MUST have been hard to get into HER PANTS…).
Shanna, knowing full well, at least to Travis, he already think she CHEATED on him when they were MARRIED - and shouldn’t have been surprised when he’s making out with someone else after he filed for divorce. And Shanna also struck me as not the most attentive mother on the show, and very HIGH MAINTAINCE. Sorry, even when you have money, there are some things that you come to realize are JUST money pits.
But having charges pressed against you before you are scheduled to battle your ex in court of custody of your children is probably NOT the wisest thing to do.

Travis Barker is ugly, and Fuggles McHilton is a skank. They deserve each other.
And, yep, a divorce party sounds like a good ole time to me!
