Courtney Love’s a Role Model for 4 Year-Olds

I found this story over at Staralicious, and thought I should share it...

Courtney Love sat down for a lunch interview with Rolling Stone magazine, and showed the world why she’s a perfect role model for 4 year-olds (of any sex).

“Because I was given acid at four, I think my mind was freed,” Courtney said, of her early age drug abuse. That’s something you want the kids of today to read…

But, I guess we can’t really blame Court for all of her wrong-doings…as it seems she didn’t have a very good role model at home.

“My father was this shyster who would get money from the government to make LSD and bad LSD. Allegedly the brown acid at Altamont [Music Festival] was his. He can’t go to Marin County, because [name redacted] apparently has a hit out on him.” No wonder Court had acid at 4!! She was just doomed to be screwed up!!


And her relationship with the former Nirvana band members doesn’t sound that great, either…


“I don’t know that that’s ever gonna work. I tried with Dave to have a lunch, and he didn’t want to…so we just kind of leave it where it is….you know, shit happened. Those guys disa-f-ckin-ppeared, and it’s been — 14, 12 — a lot of years. But they were gone. And it’s hard to get over that…With Kris, I don’t know if he’s going to run for Senate on the green ticket, making neutering cats a law…and I’m not putting down him as a human. I’m saying, he’s an eccentric guy and that eccentricity could go either way.”
Rolling Stone say that Court is now ‘officially clean and sober.’ But for how long?

Aye... I don't think other normal 4 yr olds would understand what she went through and the concept and the consequences of abusing drugs so I don't know about her being a role model...

Considering her slurred speech and incompetent sentences yesterday on The View, I would like to state that a 4 year old can speak better than her and may have more brain function too

Purleaze - she said she was 1 year sober at Pamela Anderson's roast and she was doped to the gills the whole time.

Yea, she was freaking insane at the Pamela Anderson roast, but is looking good now.

OMG...the Pam Anderson roast was horrifying and hilarious. Saw the uncensored version. She was 49 sheets to the winds and swearing up and down she was clean and sober. From the interview I heard yesterday, she doesn't sound like she gets it. She's blamming child protective services and saying stupid things like, "I never did drugs in front of my kid, maybe once or twice". Doesn't sound like rehab to me.

As much as I love Courtney she can never get her stories straight. I remember her blasting her dad on Barbra Walters for that very reason.

I don't know why but this article makes me sad. This chick was doomed from the start because of fed up parents. It's a sick cycle. It's always interesting when you hear stuff like this because it explains so much.

yeah her dad is a major nut; I've seen him in interviews before; he doesn't love his daughter at all and probably never did and same w/ her wicked mother so its really no wonder she turned out the way she did. I've always felt badly for her for that.
