DEVASTATED David Beckham will miss seeing pals Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes get married.

Becks, 31, is due to play for Real Madrid the day after Tom, 44, and Katie, 28, wed in Italy next month.
And his club says he has to spend the day of the wedding in Madrid.

Perhaps Sir David and Lady Posh have to promote their new fragrance - Intimately Beckham - or even make an emergency trip to Africa, and snatch up an orphan or 2. At least before all the good ones get taken. It's a shame that Tom will miss out on the chance to have real British gentry at his wingding.

PS. Really, at the rate Hollywood celebrities are going, Africa will soon be 'picked clean' of it's children.

I totally believe he'll be devastated. First, he'll miss being in the limelight. Second, he'll miss having a reason to get all gussied up and be photographed. Third, how could he not be there for his "pal" *ahem* Tommy's big day????
