Default Kenny Chesney compares divorce to losing his tv

Rene Zellweger's estranged husband Kenny Chesney claims his split from the actress was like losing his TV.

The country singer said of his divorce to the screen beauty after a four month marriage: 'It was like opening the door to our house and having someone come in and take your big-screen TV off the wall during the big game, and there's nothing you can do about it.'

The admission in America's Life magazine comes eight weeks after Rene cited 'fraud' for the breakdown of their whirlwind nuptials.

Last month, the Oscar winner said she wanted to take a year off from making movies to recover.

She explained: 'I'd like to take a year off from filming.

'I don't think I'd have so much to give, as a creative person, to a project that I was participating in right now, because I'm in such need of a break.

'I want some time to consider my options.'

I cannot even begin to analyze this quote. WTF??? Sounds like a real romantic, huh?

bah! this is so..hmm not right. it is such an odd thing to say. Renee reminds me of Jen A, just cause they both reek of insecurity.

That is . . . one of the most moronic things i've ever heard a man say. wow, he is a simpleton. did he just compare losing his sig other to a TV being taken away?? a tv is something you watch for fun and entertainment to keep you from being bored. draw your own conclusions?

i dont think Renee is exciting enough to eliminate boredom....maybe that's why he would be so upset if his tv DID get taken away...

At first I thought the comparison seemed insulting to Renee but after reading th quote its actually better than I thought, I mean men love TV, and he even said a big screen TV during the game!! How much more could a guy miss a girl? Obvioulsy Im taking the fact that she is Rene Zelwhatever into consideration because Im surprised he'd miss her at all! They were only together 4 months and Im surprised he didn't get sick of her croaky little voice and constant dieting!

I'd compare losing my sig other to having "my heart ripped out" and "a whole in my chest where my hope used to be" or something like that. Not "now the tv is gone I gotta look at the wall and use my imagination."

I dunno....ripping out and making off with the widescreen TV during a big game in a redneck household could get you shot. In his world it probably is one of the worst things you could do. Kind of like a man stealing his great-grandpappy's horse or something. All the more obvious why they weren't a good fit in the first place. Even in Texas where Renee is from originally I bet wide screen TV's are plentiful and practically grow on trees.

Damn...I'm going to kick my husband's ass for not have the foresight to compare me to a household appliance. Poor Renee, she really lost something special here.
