It seems Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are finally going to utter the words "I do", according to reports.
The couple are said to be planning to host the big event at Hollywood pal George Clooney's Lake Como villa next month.
The pair are also believed to have splashed out £3.5 million on one of the three properties the Ocean's Eleven star owns in the pretty area of Laglio on Lake Como.
They apparently plan to spend time there with six-month-old daughter Suri in the run-up to their big day.
Dawson's Creek star Katie, 28, and the Mission Impossible actor, 42, will tie the knot in a civil ceremony performed by the local mayor - even though Tom is a devout Scientologist.
The rumoured date is November 23.
The guestlist is said to include a host of A-listers.
On Sunday, a source told the Daily Mirror: "The wedding is scheduled for mid-November.
"Kate had looked at various hotels but the venue is to be George's villa.

Looks like it's actually gonna happen...

I don't buy it. Everyone and their mother in celebville has been rumored to be getting married at Clooney's Italian pad.

If she actually goes ahead and marries the jackass, then she is a stunned little fuckwit and I refuse to feel sorry her any longer for totally screwing up her life [not that I ever felt very sorry for her to begin with ].

I agree. She's made her bed and now she gets to lay in it. Alone of course, because we know Tommy Two-Tone isn't in it with her

Exactly. Unless Georgie has been lured into the clutches of Scientology. They do seem to specialise in homos who are so far back in the closet they live in Narnia.

The local mayor is marrying them in a civil ceremony even though he is a devout scientologist...
That shows us right there this is bullshit. You know he is going to have someone in his church marry them.

Is there anyone in Hwood that isn't getting married at Clooney's this year?
Whatever, I doubt GC actually likes Thetan Tom. Somehow I imagine GC was more of the big guy on campus in school while Thetan Tom was wondering how he could get a job running around in a man's shirt and briefs while dancing to some early 80s hit.

George is too classy to have anything to do with this. If it is true, its because his rental agent took the money without consulting George.

TOMKAT SET FOR ITALIAN WEDDING
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning to wed at George Clooney's Italian villa next month.
The " Top Gun" actor and former "Dawson's Creek" star are said to have decided to tie the knot at the luxury $2.6 million pad on the shore of Lake Como after enjoying a holiday there last weekend.
It is believed Katie, 27, and Tom, 44, opted for an Italian wedding because it was in Rome where they confirmed their relationship with a very public kiss on the set of " Mission: Impossible III."
According to local newspaper reports, the date of the big day is November 23 and the ceremony will be conducted by a local mayor.
Yesterday (10.15.06) a source said: "The wedding is scheduled for mid November. Kate had looked at various hotels but the venue is set to be George Clooney's villa."
The couple - who have a five-month-old baby daughter, Suri - are also rumored to have purchased one of the three properties Clooney owns in the Northern Italian village of Laglio for $6.5 million.
Clooney often invites his Hollywood pals to spend time at his Villa Oleandra residence. Previous guests include Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie and Richard Gere.

Hmm, I'm skeptical. Weren't Brangelina supposed to get married at George Clooney's villa last spring?
